The Wait for Satanic Panic

Friday April 17, 2020

Once upon a 2019, in simpler times than these, we created a beer so complex that it blew some minds. This beer flew off of shelves faster than you can say “conspiracy theory”. This beer was Satanic Panic.

This luxe imperial stout was the result of wanting something fresh and new. We’ve released Hearts Collide every winter since 2016, but last year we took a break to bring you an imperial stout in December.

At its base, Satanic Panic was a rich 9% stout with ample bitterness, and notes of coffee bean and dark fruit.

But now, we want you all to know how hard we’ve been working on making one of our favourite beers even bigger and better.

Last month, we brewed up another batch of the Panic with something different in mind. That’s right: BARRELS

Please enjoy this little photo essay. We had a lot of fun brewing this beer, decorating its barrels with Satanic symbols, and playing the waiting game to see what sorcery may occur in these big oaky vats.
